The Opportunity
Traditional recruiting and hiring processes fail our transitioning Veterans and Foster Care Alumni. They transition from a structured world of services and identity, where their time is not their own, to the civilian world with less structure and is less understood. As their time gap to employment or becoming underemployed increases, their feelings of stress and hopelessness can lead to depression, ill health, and potential suicide.
Most recruiters and hiring managers don’t know how to translate military experience or one’s potential to civilian positions because of their natural unconscious Human bias, and they don’t use objective job-matching science – Which reveals unknown, customized job options beyond one’s limited beliefs of others and themselves.
